Going plant-based opens up a whole bunch of questions for us: just because something is technically vegan - such as environmentally-destructive palm oil - is it okay to eat? Is it okay to invest in a company such as McDonalds by buying their vegan products? And do my ethics and plant-based beliefs stretch beyond my plate?
These are questions you can ultimately only answer yourself, and many form the dividing line between plant-based and full vegan - a dividing line only you can choose to step across.
In my latest blog, I investigate the questions of ethics that arise when deciding to ditch the meat, and whether palm oil, sustainability and even air travel can really be justified on a plant-based diet.
