I love my honey, but in order to make a successful transition to vegan eventually, we are planning on using up our last bottle of honey, and switching to Agave nectar.
I find that it has a slightly different taste, but overall can’t notice the real difference in any recipes. In theory it is supposed to be healthier for you, and is obviously vegan, and allergy free, and gluten free as well.
So I’d encourage you to help save the environment by giving a bottle of Agave nectar a try next time you are out of honey.
